Port Coquitlam Daycare Society - providing high quality child care programs in Port Coquitlam and the surrounding communities.

The Port Coquitlam Daycare Society was established on May 5, 1975 to provide child care services for families in Port Coquitlam and the surrounding communities. The Port Coquitlam Children's Centre and the Port Coquitlam School Age Care Centre are located in the Meridian Village Housing Complex. We are grateful to Metro Vancouver for offering the space.

All facilities are operated by a non profit, charitable organization registered under the B.C. Societies Act as The Port Coquitlam Daycare Society.

Our Philosophy
We believe that play is the essence of our program.  Through play, children learn to take appropriate risks and accept challenges, while interacting with the environment in a safe manner.  We encourage and support children's natural curiosity.  We believe in the importance of understanding, accepting and empowering all children.  We encourage the development of a healthy self-awareness and value inclusiveness, multiculturalism and respect for others.  We believe in the partnership between families and caregivers.

Hi There, I was at Town Centre Park on Monday with my son and I just wanted to say how amazing your staff were with the children in their care.  They were caring, observant and always interacting with the children.  The children were well behaved and having a great time.  It is refreshing to see this with a group daycare.
